Another USVI gem is the Extra Virgin Bistro in Cruz Bay, St John which has an outstanding reputation. Chefs combine locally grown ingredients with freshly caught fish, providing much-appreciated support for local businesses.

Although we had reservations for later in the week and hate to repeat a restaurant on vacation, Extra Virgin's gracious service, fabulous drinks, and excellent food definitely warrant doubling or even tripling up.

New sister restaurant to Extra Virgin Bistro in Mongoose Junction, Cruz Bay. Named for St. John’s coordinates, 18/64 is now open for lunch, raw bar, and dinner.

Whether you opt for the three-course tasting menu or choose one of the renowned main dishes, dinner at Extra Virgin Bistro is a must for a romantic evening.
