My FAVORITE restaurant in Wilmington – if not in the world – Elijah’s. Right down on the riverfront with killer views of the bridge, you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the river air (or under covered patio in the winter) while enjoying a cocktail and meal. They have mostly seafood choices but even as someone who’s not the biggest seafood fan I was still able to find something I love.

Right off the Riverwalk, you’ll also find Anne Bonny’s Bar and Grill, a spot with Carolina-casual bites and a prime location when the sun goes down. Sauce’d serves carefully crafted cocktails along the Riverwalk in a charming townhouse with river-view outdoor seating.

While all of our food was GREAT this is a busy place, service was just okay, and the food took quite a while to arrive. If you are enjoying that view it may not be an issue, I recommend coming before you get hungry!
