Its superb menu of NC caught seafood is guaranteed to please, while its first-rate service and warm, intimate ambiance is a delight. While you can’t really go wrong with whatever you order from its excellent menu, the Saltimbocca (chef’s choice white fish wrapped in prosciutto & served over a bed of sautéed spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms & goat cheese then draped with demi-glace & lemon beurre blanc) comes especially recommended.

You may come to Cape Fear Seafood Company to celebrate the merry season, but you’ll leave frolicking in delight over how life-changing the Bald Head Island Crab Cakes were. Casting out imaginative New American cuisine and sublimely prepared seafood in a polished, yet approachable environment—CFSC is a fan favorite for any time of year. The Cape Fear Seafood Company aims to provide delicious meals in a comfortable and casual atmosphere, where guests can indulge in some amazing drinks and spirits, topped off with that southern hospitality.

After 30 years, K38 Baja Grill is still going strong with an expanding portfolio of restaurants, featuring the same drinks and food that have become favorites of locals and tourists alike. After a trip to Wrightsville Beach this week, I was looking for a place to slide into for an ice cold beer and something to eat. While there are no shortage of options in that part of town, there was only one location that I set my sights on, K38 Baja Grill.

Cape Fear Seafood Company is a local chain with locations in Monkey Junction, Porters Neck and Leland and with its sights set for Southport. They have a large menu, and one of my favorite dishes is the Figure 8 Stuffed Flounder in which two roulades of flounder are stuffed with premium crab then baked and topped with a silky beurre blanc. They also offer some of the most delicately fried or broiled seafood platters with all the fixin’s.
