If you are interested in exploring some of historic Route 66, Williams Arizona is such a fun stop! I’d recommend staying at @travelbackland, getting lunch + coffee on Route 66 and spending some time wandering the shops. There’s plenty of activities like the deer farm, a zip line, the free Poozeum, bearizona, and the canyon coaster to keep the family busy! #bearizona #backlandglamping #backland #a...

Williams, Arizona: The Last Gateway to the Grand Canyon Tucked along the historic Mother Road, Williams, Arizona, is more than just a stop on Route 66—it’s a town that has stood the test of time. Founded in the late 1800s and named after mountain man “Old Bill” Williams, this frontier town became a hub for ranchers, loggers, and railroaders. By 1901, the arrival of the Grand Canyon Railway transfo...

Wood-Baked Pizza Recommendation

Don't miss the wood-baked pizzas, particularly the highly recommended Funghi.

Welcome to Williams, Arizona — the last town on Route 66 to be bypassed by I-40. The year was 1984. While the rest of the Mother Road faded into memory, Williams held on. Today, it’s a time capsule of neon, diners, and western charm — proof that not all progress means forgetting the past.” 📍#WilliamsAZ #Route66 #MotelMonday #Historic66 #RoadsideAmerica

Reviews Summary

The Historic Brewing Barrel House is celebrated for its excellent craft beers and delicious wood-fired pizzas. While the industrial-chic ambiance and outdoor seating are often praised, some diners have noted issues with the self-serve model and occasional service lapses. Dietary accommodations, particularly gluten-free options, may be limited.

"How this place has less than a 5 star is crazy. Pizza was great, wings rocked. The beers, are all good. I recommend the Sol Dorado, and Blue & Gold as light beers, and pie hole porter for sweet and wine drinkers. You can get a bottle souvenir for $28, filled!"

Jesus Gutierrez

"I ordered the Nashville hot chicken Sandwich. I enjoyed the coleslaw on it along with the sauce, and the chicken was cooked well. I wasn’t a fan of the hoagie bun. The chicken didn’t really fit the bun and I prefer less bread either a fried sandwich.

My husband ordered the supreme pizza and it was really good! The ingredients were fresh and the sauce had great flavor. The crust was a little over done for me."

Sam C

"We had a great time at Historic Brewing Barrel House in Williams. The beer is excellent, and the pizzas come from the Italian restaurant next door — a nice combination! They share a cozy outdoor patio, which makes it a perfect spot to relax. The pizzas are big enough to share between two people. A fun and tasty place to stop in Williams"
