What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mammoth Terrace Grill offers convenient American fare within Yellowstone National Park, with many praising the bison brats, huckleberry ice cream, and friendly service. While the location is a major draw and wildlife sightings are common, some find the prices high for the quality, and occasional order inaccuracies are noted. It's a solid, if not extraordinary, dining option for park visitors seeking a quick bite.
"Food was amazing but I asked for a medium rare and got a medium, so that was kind of disappointing, but everything else was amazing. I loved the lights and the building design and the sauces they offer especially chimichurri sauce. Lamb chops were amazing and everything else was great. Waiters were really kind and helpful, huckleberry lemon-aid was great. Although it was pretty expensive I’d love to go again."

"This place was comically bad. Ordered “biscuits & gravy” and it was literally a dry biscuit with a dollop of bland white gravy. The atmosphere would lead you to believe you’re getting a much better dining experience than you actually are. Everything was lukewarm and microwaved."

"Mammoth Grill – 4.5/5 ⭐ Convenient Stop with Friendly Service
Parking (5/5):
Plenty of parking available—easy, stress-free, and close to the entrance.
Service (4.5/5):
Friendly and accommodating. Staff made the experience smooth and pleasant.
Food (4.5/5):
A bit pricey, but reasonable considering the location. Tasty and satisfying.
Atmosphere & View (4/5):
Not the most scenic spot in Yellowstone, but clean and comfortable with wide table availability.
Convenience (5/5):
Easy to find, easy to order, and well-stocked—grateful they offer so much in a remote area.
Conclusion:
Not the best, but no complaints. A solid stop to rest and refuel. If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely come back."
