Reviews Summary

Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar is celebrated for its lively atmosphere, exceptional service, and delicious Mexican fare, especially its tableside guacamole and extensive tequila selection. While many praise the vibrant energy and friendly staff, some found certain dishes like fish tacos to be a bit dry, and portions of appetizers like chips and salsa to be overly generous for single diners.

"This place was popping Friday night! Came here for a late dinner and there was a wait—we left our name/number and waited less than half hour. Got a table indoor but in the front, close to outside. Vibe here is very energetic, loved it! Service was good and food came out fairly quick.

Food was delicious! The Guacamole & Chips were so good—the guac was fresh and soft, seasoned well. We enjoyed the Crispy Fish Tacos and Wet Burrito. The Steak and Blackened Fish Tacos were good too. Cocktails were great! Food/drink prices are reasonable and the portions are generous.

Side thought: I’m quite curious as to why they have TV screens in each bathroom stall!! At least the women’s bathroom did…"

"We had a great experience at Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar in Palm Beach!
The vibe was fun and relaxed, and the service was super fast and friendly.
We started with chips and fresh guacamole, made right in front of us at the table — definitely a highlight. It tasted really fresh and had the perfect amount of flavor.
For food, we had a mix of chicken tacos, beef tacos, and meat tacos. Everything was really tasty and came out quickly. We also had two IPA beers, and for our kid, we ordered the kids’ tacos with French fries.
The total came out to $109, which felt fair for the quality and the amount of food.
We had a really good time and We’re already planning to come back soon to try their brunch — can’t wait!"

"Came here last night with a friend and we had the best time ever. We sat at the bar and David was amazing! Very attentive and super sweet and nice. We had margaritas 10/10 . The chips and salsa are always a go to. Whatever seasoning they put on the chips is always so good. The steak quesadilla was really good as well. The steak inside was super tender and flavorful, no weird fatty pieces like how other places have. Everything overall was amazing. Will be back for sure."

Nightlife in Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast

In the last few years, Rocco's has taken root in numerous South Florida downtowns and become synonymous with wild nights of chips and guac, margaritas, and intoxicating fun. This is more of a scene than just a restaurant, and when Rocco's in the house and pouring shots, get ready to party hearty. With pitchers of margaritas continuously flowing, the middle-age crowd is boisterous and fun, recounting (and reliving) the days of spring break debauchery from their preprofessional years.

Palm Beach's Best Tacos

In 2007, Rocco Mangel began his South Florida dining empire with the original Clematis Street Rocco’s Tacos location. The modern Mexican cantina concept—stuffed tortillas, fresh guacamole prepared tableside and a sprawling tequila menu—has made it one of the lasting downtown West Palm eateries. Seven years later, Rocco’s has grown in scope, with locations popping up throughout Florida and even Brooklyn, yet maintains a menu of great, fresh Mexican cuisine—of which the tacos are a fantastic example.

One doesn’t always come to the nearest Rocco’s for tacos because the non-taco menu is extensive. But tacos are always a good idea at this locally based, full-service concept. Pork lovers may like Rocco’s Brooklyn taco (pulled pork, chorizo, pork belly, smoked bacon, onion, cilantro and salsa brava), while vegans may dig the tequila-spiked “hongos” taco (mushrooms, jalapeño, garlic and fixings), among other varieties.
