🚄🥪 Brightline + Buccan = the ultimate travel day. When a good lunch is a non-negotiable ✨, Buccan Sandwich Shop has you covered. Located on Palm Beach Island and West Palm Beach (on the side of Grato) from 11am-3pm daily! Their Boxed Lunch (available at the Grato location only) — sandwich, chips, cookie, pickle + drink for $24 — is such a win. My go-to picks: Beef Carpaccio, Steak Bomb & the BLT. ...

Reviews Summary

Diners consistently praise Grato for its delicious food, particularly the meatballs and pizzas, and the overall casual yet elegant dining experience. The attentive service also receives high marks, making it a great spot for special occasions. While most reviews are glowing, a few diners have noted occasional issues with saltiness in certain dishes.

"It was my first time at Grato tonight, Brandon our server made the ENTIRE experience! Such chill & welcoming vibes. The food overall was amazing! Meatballs, beet salad, & tuna tartare 100! If I’m being completely honest the pasta dish that he recommended was too salty and I don’t blame it on him as I know it’s a common back of the house error at times. Overall an amazing experience!"

Sarah Zapata

"First time here, pizzas were very salty.. And I usually like salty food. When ordering to go, I guess some of the ingredients were not listed because there was meat on one of my pizzas but it wasn’t listed on the online menu… I attached screenshot so maybe you guys can fix it. Also there was no blue cheese on the pizza and that one was listed… Unfortunately I won’t be coming back…"

Karolína Urbanová

"This was my 3rd time at Grato and decided to get something new. Everything was delicious! The grilled octopus was amazing!!! The chicken Milanese was perfectly crispy and the lemon vinaigrette was refreshing along with the salad. My husband ordered the Orecchiette was well seasoned and creamy. Can’t wait to go back!

Oh and the drinks were on point 👌🏼"

Hop off I-95, make one turn and you’re at another of Conley’s spots, this one focusing on wood-fire pizzas. Skip the tables and sit at the pizza counter, where you can watch pizzaiolos spin pies with fresh ingredients and toss them in the oven. Pick a pie (I like the black truffle, fontina, oyster mushroom), pair with an appetizer like the Parmesan polenta meatball (or split a larger plate like the Sunday gravy with pasta if you’re hungrier) and have your expectations blown for what an upscale pizza and pasta shop can be.

The roar of conversation will bounce from the exposed Dade County-pine-covered ceilings 40 feet above the open, wood-fueled pizza oven painted a bright Ferrari red. Patrons can choose to sit at the kitchen bar for a front-row seat to the action, watching as chefs shuffle pies in and out of the oven from open to close.

The best way to describe Grato would be if you died and woke up in pizza heaven. It’s a large Italian restaurant with high industrial ceilings (if you’re looking for a small Brooklyn-style pizzeria, go to Pizza Girls downtown). The wood fired pizza is the reason to come here and it’s wonderful, which is no surprise considering that Grato is a sister restaurant to two of our Palm Beach favorites: Buccan and Imoto.
