What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the fantastic breakfast and brunch experiences, praising the flavorful, hot food and exceptional service. While many find the atmosphere cozy and vibrant, some reviews mention occasional issues with food temperature or slightly disorganized service, particularly during busy periods. Despite minor critiques, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many eager to return.
"Absolutely fantastic breakfast experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food came out hot and fresh, every bite was packed with flavor. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon was crisp without being greasy, and the pancakes were fluffy clouds of happiness. The coffee was rich and smooth, topped off constantly without even asking. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot to start the day. Easily one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to!"

"Mother’s Day brunch
We had a reservation but it was pretty light & steady before the church crowd. Nice vibe, casual dining with great music. The hostess seemed a bit disheveled - in appearance & attitude - seemed like she rolled out of bed and was doing her best to make it through the day but that set the tone for our experience. Our server Jose did his best but it was a little slow for how many tables he did have.
We ordered a Peach Bellini and mimosa flight as a toast. Our meals - Brussels sprouts were delicious and crispy, surf & turf was over cooked - everything was too crispy & tough, blackened mahi was delicious, Mac & cheese was cold and therefore the cheese wasn’t melted so it tasted like noodles & cheese, braised collards were decent but cold as well, and the house salad with chicken was standard.
Between the service and cold food, this was underwhelming especially for Mother’s Day cause Mama was not impressed! I’m not writing it off because I can taste the potential but maybe I’ll have to try again when it’s not a special occasion."

"Came here once on a trip while I was visiting the DC area.
Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and it was amazing! It was good quality, tasted fresh, and just the right portion size. The biscuit appetizer was warm and crumbly too!
The atmosphere is so cozy and comforting and the service is great. The staff are also really friendly and kind.
If I’m in the area, I will definitely be back!"
