TASTE is a dog-friendly restaurant and cafe that has been open since 1973. Their mission is: "cultivate community through the good life." Today, TASTE is a family of businesses that has grown to include 13 unique locations. "Each traditional TASTE location is part specialty foods market and part upscale café offering made-to-order salads, sandwiches & soups; small batch, from scratch housemade prepared & packaged foods; boutique wines & craft beers; specialty food & gift items and culinary events.

Taste, or formally known as Taste Unlimited, was started in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach in 1973 and has been one of the best restaurants in Virginia Beach ever since. There are 5 different Taste locations all over Virginia Beach and each one bring the same specialty food market and upscale cafe. They make made to order sandwiches, salads, and soups using only locally sourced items.

Taste is celebrated for its gourmet deli offerings and fresh, high-quality ingredients. This local favorite has built a reputation for its creative sandwich combinations and vibrant salads. This dog-friendly restaurant is also great for dogs who are prone to anxiety and are easily spooked by loud noises.

This sandwich shop was the cutest with all of the fresh ready to meal items and then there's the actual sandwiches!. VERY fresh, LOTS of fillings in the sandwich and TONS of flavor. Even better with my gluten allergy they had bread options and were careful to note my other for my safety.

Candy is definitely dandy, and at the gourmet grocer, TASTE, with a store in Greenbrier, there’s a superabundance of sweets, including some seasonal offerings made in-house.
