What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Coney Island is celebrated for its nostalgic atmosphere and affordable, classic comfort food, especially its signature Coney dogs. While many praise the friendly service and historical charm, a few recent reviews mention concerning issues with food preparation and customer service.
"Why can't every place be this accurate. This is a business model for all food places.
The online ordering had a $0 fee for pickup!
The online ordering had modifications for me to add or remove as I pleased.
I love the extra cheese option!
The chili is JUST RIGHT for the entire family .
It came with the right condiments - hot sauce and hot pepper powder 🌶️ ✅
The perfect portions. Not too small, not too large.
Myself and my two kids ordered the 3 coney platter (each got one), split a large Frito pie 3 ways, and split the larger tamale meal 3 ways!!! We were able to get a little of all - we will absolutely be back."

"Amazing hot dogs! The cheese melts just perfect to create a cheesy barrier, preventing the chili from flowing down onto my shirt. My only suggestion would be change the oil for the fries over to grass fed beef tallow. Then I'd be shouting your name from the rooftops!! You guys are super nice inside and always take care of me."
Mike Butler
"In search of some of the oldest restaurants in T-town and this is one of them. The original Coney Island In T-Town. And the location is special.
They got PICTs and Old advertisements that the Coney was sold at the price of five cents!
Just right in the heart of downtown!
Heck …even the chairs took yiu back to your school days!
I am NOT gonna talk about the foods, please come and experience this place yourself!"
