Reviews Summary

Taqueria Pico de Gallo receives mixed reviews. Many praise the authentic, homemade tortillas and flavorful tacos, especially the fish tacos and horchata. However, some customers have reported issues with food quality, long wait times, and inconsistent service, with a few describing their experience as disappointing or even awful.

"Delicious little Mexican restaurant! Easy to get to near the freeway. Great parking. There were some great murals painted and in the shared parking lot raspados were available. The restaurant had great selections on the menu including combo plates. We ordered barbacoa tacos and care asada burrito. Both had fresh flour tortillas and great flavor. The meat was very tender and full of delicious juiciness! I will definitely be back when we are on this side of town!!"

"All I can say is that I should have gone to Taco Bell instead, worst burrito ever anywhere I've been in the states. Bad presentation, just the so-called burrito and a big slice of yellow lemon! No salsa,or "pico de gallo". I asked for jalapeños and carrots and was told that they cost money but they gave me some for free. Burrito,my gosh is bad. I paid $1.50 for cheese and guacamole. Still bad ! Three breaded shrimps the same they use for tacos, little rice, guac and cheese, not even melt. A very small portion overall in a big flour tortilla. A gas station burrito tastes better than this...I don't understand how they have so many reviews. THE ONLY HIGHLIGHT....HORCHATA WAS GOOD. One can tell when the cook enjoys the job,the lady look like she had to be there and get it done....food goes to the soul.
I took only two bites and left...too bad
The place was empty to add more salt to the wound."

"Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to the person at the Comedy Bang Bang show last night who recommended this local spot. Corn tortilla tacos. The horchata is spectacular. Man, I wish there was a place like this near my home (and at such reasonable prices!!)"

Tucson Bike Tour to Discover the Best Tacos in Arizona

We were breaking Bultman's rules a little—the restaurant (a.k.a. not a food truck) was painted a vibrant yellow with orange trim, while outside a bright teal fence and picnic tables beckoned hungry cyclists like us. But their shrimp and fish tacos were widely beloved, and even more so were their house-made corn tortillas. Bultman relayed that the cakey and delicious tortillas were made with yellow Maseca Corn Masa Flour, which was much preferred for its thickness.

'America's Best Mexican Food' Is Officially In Tucson

Opened by Ignacio "Nacho" Delgado over 30 years ago (who's still slinging tacos at 83 years young), this shop is one that's dear to many Tucsonans' hearts. It's an American dream type of story: Delgado peddled horchata, coctel de elote, and the cut fruit "pico de gallo" that is his business' namesake from a pushcart on rented sidewalk space. After five years, he established this little no-frills shop painted bright Oaxaca gold, orange, and cream and featuring an unmistakable fruit mural.

What sets these fish tacos apart is their freshness and authenticity. Pico De Gallo makes their tacos fresh to order, starting from scratch with the masa, which ensures maximum freshness. Their fish tacos consist of two corn tacos filled with minced cabbage and three good-sized pieces of fish that have been breaded and fried, complemented by, of course, some pico de gallo and queso fresco.
