Real Seafood Company is a rare treat in the American Midwest: a restaurant that serves fresh catch seafood. Some of the food comes from the Great Lakes, but some come from as far away as New England. You’ll pay the price for the fresh catch – Atlantic Salmon will run you about $30 a plate – but that’s no more expensive than fresh catch at the beach.

There you will find Navy Bistro (high end French inspired sea food), Real Seafood Company (chain), an Italian place, a cajun place, and a Mexican place (sorry can't remember the names). These places are worth going to because of the view. you can sit right on the water and watch the great lakes freighters go by with a back drop of downtown.

The Chop House, located downtown, is also really good food and nice atmosphere. I also really like Sakura's on Monroe Street (Japanese Cuisine) and Jing Chuan (Chinese Cuisine) on Secor Rd. Most of these are on the higher end price wise, yet still reasonable, depending on what you order.
