What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners frequently praise La Pita for its fresh, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine, especially highlighting the delicious house-made pita bread, hummus, and unique dishes like maqanic. Service is often described as friendly and attentive, with staff willing to offer recommendations. However, some reviews note inconsistencies, with occasional complaints about dry meats or overly tart dips.
"Stopped by for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Wait staff member Heather was very attentive and offer great insights to the many menu choices. Well worth the drive from Dexter to enjoy their food!"

"It's worth going for the hot pita bread alone! All the classic Lebanese dishes are available, including vegetarian and vegan options. The fruit smoothies were fresh and flavorful. We tried the carrot/honey and the apple juice. Both the salad and garlic sauce were bursting with flavor and a bit addictive. The entrees were excellent, and the portions were generous. Our only criticism is that the sandwiches (wraps) were a bit smaller than expected and somewhat dry. Overall, La Pita is a solid choice and one of the better options in the area."

Dearborn Party Bus - Best Nightlife In The Area
You'd never expect that La Pita would be such a charming restaurant, because from the outside it looks like nothing more than a carryout restaurant in a shopping center. It's very nice and comfortable inside, with adequate seating, and plenty of delicious Mediterranean meals to choose from. We love the maqanic that they serve here which is very hard to find elsewhere (it's a very tasty lamb sausage), and we're huge fans of their chicken shawarma and their delicious fattoush.
