Reviews Summary

Bangkok 96 Restaurant is lauded for its consistently delicious Thai food and incredibly generous portions, making it a local favorite. While many praise the flavorful dishes and efficient service, some diners note the shift to a fast-food style setup with to-go containers and plastic cutlery, which has altered the dine-in ambiance for some.

"First time trying recommend by a family member. You order and either sit down they bring the food to your table. or you can take out. Ordered chicken and beef pud Thai, chicken fried rice, spicy crab wontons, hot and sour soup w/ side of spring rolls. Everything was hot and fresh. Best fried rice I've ever had. Pad Thai and would definitely order again good flavor very generous portions."

"A gloomy, overcast day has me thinking comfort food, filling, tasty stuff. Thai food is comfort food. The dozen people here are of a similar mind, it seems.
Google showed two Thai restaurants apparently next to each other. Seems the other place, Thai Feast, is either an old name or previous restaurant. It ain't open. In fact, the address is the same as here. Hint.
Order & pay at the counter. Food comes ready to carry-out even if you're eating in. A. It odd but not unheard-of.
Interior isn't super bright but the ambient light level outside is low, too. With all those windows it'll be brighter inside when it's brighter outside.
The women at the counter are quick, efficient and professional. They also deliver your order when it's ready. You get you own plastic utensils, plates/bowls.
My food was perfectly prepared, hot, delicious and a solid amount for a Wednesday lunch.
Music was playing but at an appropriate level to converse and the staff to take phone orders easily."

"The dine-in experience that I had was amazing through the food. You order up front, choose your table and when your food is ready they bring it out to you bagged up in to-go containers. I had the crispy duck in brown sauce with veggies and white rice. It was, phenomenal and I WILL be back!!"
