What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Psomi is praised for its exceptional Greek cuisine, particularly its fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, with many highlighting the artisanal bread and dips. Diners appreciate the beautiful ambiance and friendly service, though some find parking challenging and the noise level can be high during peak times. While most rave about the food, a few reviews mention feeling rushed or finding certain items overpriced.
"So let me tell you about this amazing place, first of all I was surprised by my Husband on Valentine's Day for a morning breakfast. If you are into unique places to eat and want something different for breakfast and you like greek food, this will be your place. The atmosphere was amazing,we sat outside , the place beautifully designed with Greek culture and beautiful designs.
Me and my Husband had the bagel breakfast, the breakfast bread basket, lavender coffee and baklava coffee. Everything was great, the coffees were strong, the espresso punched through very strong, but my favorite was the lavender flavor. The bacon on the sandwich was excellent, we had a chance to talk to the manager/chef and she explained the delicate process of how they prepare such great bacon, the eggs beautiful, buttery, fluffy and cheese flavored filled. The bagel, what can I say, if you see the pics you will know it's everything.
If you're into dips, grab the kalamata olive aioli and the garlic aioli, they come with your fries for dipping, these were exceptional, but my favorite was the olive,I can imagine it on a sandwich and it will blow it away.
The other cool thing is that there is a Greek shop right next to the restaurant, when you go inside you can purchase items you may have had at the restaurant or enjoy home items to purchase. All in all this restaurant is a 5star in my books and we will definitely be back and continue to recommend to all.
Keep bringing the authentic taste to Tampa."

"I had a great brunch here! The food and atmosphere is lovely. Their espresso drinks are so good, I love their house made brown sugar syrup! We also had great service thanks to Morgan! She was very nice and had great recommendations. I will definitely be back!"

"Initially, parking was difficult. There’s a small lot and I saw a sign for valet. We ended up street parking a little ways down. The inside is very nicely decorated. It can get quite loud and I found myself having to raise my voice to be heard across the table (we were a party of 2). Our waiter was great at explaining the concept of the restaurant and the freshness of the ingredients. The food was delicious! We enjoyed everything we ordered. There are only 2 single use restrooms for the whole restaurant, so most of the time there was a line."

The 17 Best Restaurants In Tampa - Tampa
If the team behind Greek spot Psomi put on a musical, all of the lead roles would be wildly talented breads who could carry the whole show singing a capella. While that’s clearly not possible, the carbs here are excellent, especially at weekend brunch. There are stuffed pitas, honey-drenched loukoumades, solid everything bagels, and even a horiatiki salad that comes with a crusty baguette baked that morning.

We know, we know, $100 could feed some families for a week—but if you’re gonna splurge, do it with a midday menagerie at this Michelin-approved Greek hotspot from Chef Christina Theofilos. All-day breakfast is fun, but start with a dip (the airy, fresh, favosalata or trio if you’re feisty), then fill up on the hearty horiatiki salad topped with a brick of feta and a crusty baguette (baked in-house, of course). Split a lamb pita or smashburger to round things out.
