Favorite brunch spots, such as the Creekside Cafe and Grill which offer plates such as the Wafflelaphagus, and Winona’s with cinnamon rolls as big as your head, often have a bit of a line for a table. Even the resort’s own restaurant, 10,330 – because that’s how high it is – requires a reservations for those wanting to indulge in its epic brunch. (I also recommend Johnny B. Goods Diner for ice cream and Sweet Pea Market and Restaurant for a farm to table experience.)

Creekside is one of my favorite spots for breakfast in Steamboat. Instead of getting my usual Benedict, I decided to try the Veg-HEAD, their veggie burger with a house made bean patty. It was delicious and I was glad I tried something new at a place I love to go to.

Let’s just say that you’ll struggle to find a cafe in a more idyllic setting. Not to mention, the food at Creekside is to die for. Showing up to Creekside will likely lead to you standing in line for a table, but I can tell you it’s worth it.
