A choice romantic destination as well as an excellent launchpad for a night out, this restaurant offers an astonishing spate of meat, seafood, or veggie small-plate options. You can't go wrong with any of the ceviches, and the paella (featuring vegetables, seafood, or chicken and pork paella) is a good large-plate choice. In the catacomb-like bar downstairs, there's jazz, salsa, and flamenco many nights (the schedule varies each month).

You'll be much happier at the Parkshore Grill, Ceviche or Bella Brava, all of which are in the same area as Cassis.

If you seek a great place to eat and enjoy a great evening by yourself or with friends and family, you can go to Crowley’s Downtown, Red Mesa Cantina, The Moon Under Water, Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant, BellaBrava on 204 Beach Drive NE or Parkshore Grill on 300 Beach Dr. NE. If you are in the mind to have some Asian foods, such as Thai or sushi, you can visit 9 Bangkok on 571 Central Ave. If your taste buds are tingling and they want some seafood, Greek cuisine or Mediterranean foods, you can visit the Acropolis Greek Taverna on 515 Central Ave. The Oyster Bar has an all-American menu but also serves a lot of seafood.

Bright turquoise accents and a Barcelona inspiration offer a great place to meet and share plates created by Executive Chef Horasio Salgado at Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant in downtown St. Pete. Start with a sangria, famous at Ceviche for over 20 years, and add a reserve brandy and orange liqueur or a Barca Nona served with rum, bourbon, coffee, and smoke. Though there is no outdoor seating, Ceviche caters for various private or business events.

Bookending our half mile of interesting characters is Ceviche and their downstairs salsa club, “Che”. They’ve been doing tapas since you still had to explain to midwesterners the difference between appetizers and tapas (mozzarella sticks vs. gambas al ajillo). My friend Cesar likes to throw on a fringy vest and drag all his gringo friends out for Friday night salsa where we witness this Ecuadoran/Long Islander’s true superpower: Latin moves.

If you’re looking for Spanish-style tapas, go to Ceviche, located in the historic Ponce de Leon Hotel at the corner of Beach Drive and Central Avenue. They offer a large menu of reasonably-priced tapas for plenty of sharing, but you can also order a full meal as well. Favorites include the Churrasco Al Cabrales with tender New York-style strip steak and shiitake mushrooms or the Pollo Al Ajillo in Spanish sherry sauce.

Located in a renovated 100 year old building, stepping into Ceviche is like stepping into the charm and ambiance of Spain. They had a complete makeover a couple of years ago, and also revamped their menu to be the most authentic and freshest Spanish food in town. The building has old-world charm, and downstairs there is a Latin-themed lounge called Ché with live music and dancing.

Ceviche in St. Pete is inspired by Barcelona and its laid-back and delicious approach to life. If you're on a quest for authentic tapas and sultry Flamenco music, Ceviche Tapas Bar & Restaurant in downtown St. Pete is the place. The passionate sounds of Spanish guitar and a menu offering more than 100 cold and hot tapas will tempt you to linger here for hours.

Inside the Ponce de Leon Hotel, you’ll find a Spanish chain outpost that serves up the best tapas in the Bay area. The closest thing to visiting Spain, Ceviche serves the best authentic Spanish food in Saint Pete. If you’ve ever been to Barcelona, you’ll be familiar with the locals’ laid-back and delicious approach to life.

Ceviche was the restaurant we hunkered down in during our post-Pier rainstorm, and it was probably Sherry’s favorite of the trip. This definitely stretched the kids’ palettes a little bit (the meatballs, croquetas, and pesto chicken were the biggest hits with them) but that was the beauty of sharing a bunch of small plates.

The Ceviche St Petersburg has a luxurious and grand feel to it, and it’s a great place to relax and spend time with friends and family. Brussels, fresh salmon, oxtail, and churros are just a few delicious things you can order from its menu. Don’t pass on their red sangria (I prefer it the standard way).

Located on Beach Dr NE a block away from the bay, Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant boasts an extensive menu including over fifty hot and cold dishes. So, choosing an entree here may prove to be daunting. You’ll take comfort in ordering a sangria – voted best in St Pete – while you parous the menu.

Another popular seafood St. Pete restaurant is Ceviche, however this is completely unique. The cuisine here is strictly Spanish with small plates, paella and of course the freshest ceviche’s. The food goes along well with the well-appointed atmosphere straight out of Barcelona!

This is hands-down my favorite restaurant in downtown St. Pete. Ceviche is a tapas restaurant located right on Beach Drive in the heart of downtown. They moved to this larger location in 2021 and were able to expand seating and the menu.
