"Loved my first visit to Sola! The food was fabulous and we had an amazing time. We got the Burrata Caprese and Beef Tips appetizers. I expected them to be small so that’s why we got 2 but the Burrata was such a large service! Than we also got the rabbit entree (Lapin a la Moutarde) with the most amazing sauce and the Filet Mignon. We were so full we couldn’t even think about dessert."

Although typically not considered a live music bar, Sola Bistro & Wine Bar features some of the only live jazz in the area that I’ve been able to find. It’s a great choice for a more upscale dinner or a few glasses of wine with classy music as the back drop. Keep in mind they only have live jazz occasionally, and you can check for Live Music Nights on the Sola Facebook page.

The proprietor of Sola Bistro and Wine Bar is a very nice, warm and friendly Armenian guy named Tigran Khachaturyan. He goes by “Tig” (hard “G” like Tigger in Winnie the Pooh). Tig and his chef, Artem Kucherenko, (who is also quite hospitable) have created epicurean ecstasies for their medium size, but eclectic menu.

We go early so it’s hasn’t been very busy the times we’ve went. They are amazing at handling my fiancés severe gluten/dairy/nut allergies. I love the Carbonara and he enjoys their filet.
