"Walking around St. Augustine looking for a place to eat dinner my husband and I decided to check out St. George Restaurant. The dining room is very pleasant, but we opted for sitting on the balcony with a view of the water and the Castillo de San Marcos. We ordered three appetizers to share. They were fresh and delicious. The waitress and manager were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the experience thoroughly."

"Found this place on the corner at the end of Saint George street. Got to sit outside at the top of the balcony on the corner right at sunset. Good little place for drinks. She makes a heck of a good spicy Margarita. Her name was destiny, the bartender and our server, very nice, very efficient. Thanks again for the good time. We even saw a rocket shoot from Cape Canaveral. By sitting on the balcony and you can see the fort right across the street. Nice people watching spot on a cool winter Florida evening."

We had lunch - empanadas (the best I’ve ever had, I think made with short rib beef? with a tasty sauce), quiche (rich but not stodgy, Gruyère and ham), beef soup/stew, and salads (fresh, delicious pickled (?) onions were a great addition ), freshly made cornbread. The desserts were spectacular!! Matthew the server was attentive and pleasant. The view and breeze outside is beautiful. Highly recommend for a different experience from the usual restaurants downtown."
