"⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Exceptional Stay at Old City House Inn & Restaurant – A True Gem in St. Augustine!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Old City House Inn & Restaurant during our recent trip to St. Augustine. From the moment we arrived late at night, the hospitality was top-notch. We called the number listed, and Mr. Juan answered promptly, greeting us within minutes and personally showing us to our room. It set such a warm and welcoming tone right away!
The room itself was beautiful – charmingly decorated with thoughtful details, and the temperature was perfectly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day of travel. We slept like babies!
The next morning, we were treated to an awesome breakfast that exceeded all expectations. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, but what really stood out was the service from the staff – it was above and beyond, with everyone going out of their way to make us feel special and attended to. This place blows away any recognizable chain hotel we’ve stayed at; it’s got that personal touch and genuine care that’s so rare these days.
If we ever return to St. Augustine (and we hope to soon!), the Old City House Inn & Restaurant is our go-to spot – no need to search for anything else. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a cozy, memorable stay with five-star service all around!"

"This review focuses on the restaurant, not the hotel itself. It’s an incredible establishment. Definitely deserving of consideration for those special occasions. Expect to spend $250 for two. Worth it. However, there was a disturbing downside to last visit. A hovering waitress who frankly was a pest. Obviously annoyed when we were more attentive to each other than menu selections. And time was not a factor as we had arrived well before closing. Yet, despite a generous tip, the bill was altered. And there was no mistaking the amounts I entered. Trying to get the Manager (Juan) to correct the discrepancy was a joke. Four direct phone calls, each ending with a chuckle and promises to correct the bill until the adjustment was made. It’s all about service and this experience was exacerbating."

"We dined at the restaurant.

Something fun: The hotel and restaurant is haunted and the spirit was drawn by a medium.

For a full fine dining experience for 3 people, cup of soup, entrees, dessert and bottle of wine - it came out to $300.

The food was good and not great. It’s fine dining but I wouldn’t particularly say the chef was phenomenal.

When we got our bill, another bottle of wine was added by mistake so make sure to double check your receipt."
