Reviews Summary

Steiner's Tavern offers a lively atmosphere and unique drinks, with many enjoying the fun vibe and pool tables. However, a significant number of reviews cite extremely rude and aggressive behavior from staff, leading to discomfort and negative experiences for patrons, particularly those who appear to be tourists or from minority groups. There are also mentions of issues with card payments and a less-than-welcoming attitude towards outsiders.

"I love this place 😍! Really good food and atmosphere, with excellent drinks and excellent staff! The combo plate is not to be passed up! If you are in the area and want a great drink (like peanut butter whiskey 🤤), or some excellent grub, go to Steiner's on the square in Sonoma. Also a great place to walk around after food and drinks 😃!"

"Highly recommended!!!
If you ever wondered where locals go, they go Steiners. It's a country style bar, super cool, so definitely rock your cowboy boots and or cowboy hats.

It's great place for just a fun hangout or nightcap.

It's right next to the main square!"

Ash Ster

"What a blast! Went here twice during our stay. Once at night and the energy was "off the charts' and sooo much fun, and crowded ! And then again during the day...great atmosphere both times, killer Martinis, and the food was delicious... but how about that cool pool table in the back? Loved our time here! Highly recommend!"

Where to Get the Best Pub Grub in Sonoma County

seven days a week and has been welcoming customers since 1927. What’s not to love about a casual, comfy place that charms with a beer on tap for just $5 or a Cosmo for $6?. There’s nothing fancy here, but that’s how we like it, with the compact kitchen cranking out gut-filling, mouthwatering standards such as buffalo-sauced chicken wings, golden battered mini corn dogs, and spicy jalapeño poppers.
