What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Phillips Avenue Diner is celebrated for its generous portions, friendly service, and fun, retro atmosphere. Diners rave about the hearty breakfast classics and unique waffle creations. However, some guests have found the Eggs Benedict disappointing due to a cheese sauce substitute for Hollandaise, and parking can be a challenge.
"We had a great experience here! Our waitress was kind, attentive (even though she was busy)! We came for the burger battle but also ordered a shake to share. Very tasty. Looking forward to return for the usual menu items. This burger was tasty, and we enjoyed how the cinnamon complemented the burger! And the sweet potato fries were amazing!!"

"The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly. The shakes were flavorful and very tasty. The burgers were juicy and had a good seasoning to them. The bun was toasted giving them a nice crunch. The fries were very good. They were crispy! The salad was fresh and not slimy. *There is a small parking lot and on street parking that is metered so if you come to the diner, make sure you have quarters. I definitely a place I will stop again in the future when passing through."

"What an incredible find for Sunday brunch!! The server was amazing! Highly recommend asking for a side of peanut butter fluff to dip your toast in- creative and delicious!
The biscuits and gravy were top notch. Very full flavored and if you like a bit of sage in your sausage gravy this is the one to hit.
The hollandaise sauce is definitely made from scratch and not from a packet. Velvety smooth
And don't miss out on a milkshake perfect for sharing and they will split the extra into a second goblet
Don't ignore the hype. It's really amazing!"
