What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Collins Quarter is highly praised for its exceptional brunch and coffee, blending Australian and Southern flavors into creative and delicious dishes. Diners rave about the vibrant atmosphere, attentive service, and the welcoming, pet-friendly outdoor seating. While generally a positive experience, some note the potential for long wait times during peak hours.
"Actually ate here twice while on a trip to Savannah with my wife. Our first meal was dinner, so I’ll do a second review about the brunch we had there. We started with their much talked about appetizer devils on horseback - delicious! My wife and I shared the special that evening which was a shrimp dish with roasted veggies served over polenta…again outstanding! We also added a side of their vegetables. The atmosphere and ambiance here is very quaint and clean. The added bonus was the great service provided by Sophia who was very attentive, but not hovering. She gave excellent recommendations and was easy to talk to. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and great service. Keep in mind there are two locations and they have different menus and hours of operation so call ahead and do your research.
Meal 2: We went back for brunch a couple days later and were just as impressed. Rose was our server and did an awesome job! Again, very attentive while not intruding on her guests. She made several recommendations when my wife asked about her favorite cocktails and brunch items. I was there for the famous Dubai chocolate French toast and boy was I happy we made the trip back. Obviously it’s very rich, so you have to enjoy something sweet to appreciate this dish. Having said that, who complains when your French toast is covered in chocolate, strawberries and gelato? Such a great restaurant if you’re in the neighborhood."

"Super cute spot.
We wisted as a group of 6 and we were seated quickly. Service was good and fast. Food was delicious. Place is located in the bottom floor and second part in a half basement of the old buildings. It gave a great vibe. Had great decor with few long tables made of the slabs of wood. Eclectic a bit. On the list to visit again."

"The best breakfast and brunch we had in Savannah. We were seated right away with no wait. We ordered the Moroccan Scramble and Leo’s Big Brekkie, and both were delicious. The portions were very generous, the prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back again."

While their Forsyth Park location is bigger, there’s nothing quite like people-watching at the cafe tables downtown, especially once you get your spread of delicious shakshouka, biscuits and gravy, and an Australian flat white.

Avocado Toast at The Collins Quarter: Avocado toast is already the most-Instagrammed food group in the world (pretty sure that’s a scientific fact) but the Collins Quarter takes the photogenic snack food to the next level by topping it with tomato, feta, edible flowers and shaved radishes. It was almost too pretty to eat — until I took the first bite, at which point all bets were off. Here's what a Yelp reviewer said: "I ordered the Bubble and Squeak, since it was one of the most creative dishes and came recommended by my ghost tour guide last night. A large panko crusted potato cake sits on a bed of creamed corn, then topped with a slice of Portobello mushroom, tomato puree, and a poached egg. I asked my server, Jessica, if she had recommendations to enhance by dish, and she suggested grilled shrimp. I enjoyed my dish and the shrimp very much, and I was happy to enjoy patio seating on a perfect weather morning!
