Sporting sweeping views of the historic city and bridge over the Savannah River, the Peregrin is a rooftop bar lounge with fun nooks and long bar tops with stools (and even a mural wall, which you know I loved!). Perched atop the trendy Perry Lane Hotel, Peregrin is open daily starting at 11am and going strong through midnight (and 1am on weekends). In truth, we went and checked out the view, but there was nowhere to sit, so we moved onto Proof & Provisions across the street instead, though everyone there seemed to be having a blast and I’ll plan on getting there earlier (and on a weekday, not a Saturday) next time I touch down in Savannah.

Hands down, the Peregrin roof top bar was m y all time favorite spot that we visited in Savannah. I swear you are going to love this bar – not only for the view, but they have a vibrant tropical mural, a decent amount of plant life (I love plants if you haven’t picked up on it yet), a fun green space to play games, and frozen rosé – consider me SOLD!

I love grabbing a drink and appetizer on the rooftop and then making my way to the restaurant located in the bottom of the Perry Lane, The Emporium Kitchen and Wine Market.

With a dedicated drink menu and shareable plates, “Peregrin” is the perfect place to dress up nicely, and enjoy an afternoon drink overlooking Savannah. We love the seating arrangements that make it easy for small and big parties to lay back, and recharge from a busy day – all of this with a beautiful view over the city.

A few of our favorites include Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Garden in the Plant Riverside District (try the Georgia Kiss, Grey Goose vodka, blood orange, and lemon), Peregrin above the Perry Lane Hotel (try the Yuzu with sake, yuzu liqueur, elderflower liqueur, cava, and grapefruit lavender bitters), and Top Deck Bar on River Street (try the Midnight Sail with Absolut Pear, St. Germaine, lime juice, Blue Curacao, Grenadine, and a splash of soda).

We were able to have dinner at The Emporium Kitchen and Wine Market, go upstairs and feel trendy with a few cocktails at Peregrin, the rooftop bar, and hang out late night at Wayward, the “neighborhood watering hole.” And have I mentioned the rooftop pool?. This was Elizabeth’s favorite part of the whole trip!. A great place to let the kids blow off steam, or just relax and enjoy a frose for yourself.

This newly renovated rooftop bar on the roof of the Perry Lane Hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Located right in the heart of Savannah near Colonial Park Cemetery, you’ll love the handcrafted cocktails, tropical plants, and variety of seating offered here. And the Savannah skyline views just can’t be beat!

We highly recommend catching sunset on the rooftop at The Peregrin!. There was a firepit, and great company in the form of fellow travelers, and The Peregrine provided blankets, which was a nice touch. ssn – even though sunset didn’t wow us on this particular night, it was one of my favorite evenings.
