It might be a bit of a struggle to find an empty table amongst all the SCAD students parked there for a day studying, but the tacos and horchata are worth the wait.

Enjoying an ideal location in Savannah's up-and-coming SoFo (South of Forsyth Park) area, Foxy Loxy is a neighborhood hub for culture, coffee and cuisine. I studied here often during Physical Therapy school because it has Tex Mex for when I needed energy. If you love a cold brew, they sell a branded growler filled with their super caffeinated Black Fox cold brew, perfect for those late night study sessions I once had. In fact, if you visit during a class break from nearby Arnold Hall, I can almost guarantee your pup will get lots of attention!. There are a handful of tables out front, but the back patio area has more space and plenty of shade.

Foxy Loxy – is one of Savannah’s most beloved coffee joints. The eclectic house-turned-café is divided into distinct areas: the main room and upstairs, where there’s a balcony and some incredibly comfortable rocking chairs. There’s also the enclosed patio outside, where you can sit ‘round a picnic table or on wrought iron chairs and enjoy the Savannah weather.

If you find yourself near Starland Yard, Foxy Loxy is worth a stop. My personal favorite is the Mexican Mocha (hot or iced, both are good) because it has a bit of a kick. This amazing location inside a house on Bull Street (very near Savannah’s iconic Gingerbread House) is about as homey as it gets. We love their matcha lattes and rich, fudgy goat cheese brownies (above shown). Mostly, however, we love the youthful energy here.

How’s this for an unexpected mix: hip coffee shop, bakery, and….TexMex cafe. The Foxy Loxy Cafe is a down-to-earth spot inside a house on Bull Street. Given the cafe’s proximity to several SCAD campus buildings the space generates some serious kinetic energy.

Kind of the same deal with the Foxy Loxy on Bull a few blocks south of the park. There is a burger joint called the Green Truck at Habersham and 40th that is killer for veg/meat burgers both and I'm pretty sure it's all organic (plus lots of good beer).
