What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners praise Flying Monk Noodle Bar for its authentic and flavorful Asian noodle dishes, particularly the Pho and Ramen, and the incredibly fast service. The customizable spice tray is a unique highlight. However, some reviews mention the restaurant can get loud and a bit crowded, and one reviewer noted a decline in food quality and kitchen cleanliness.
"I had a low expectation from its location, the main street😅, but the food was surprisingly authentic. I loved their spice tray as well. Pepper flakes were mixed with some fragrant like fennel. If I have to say, the wonton soup was served at the same time with the fried rice. So the rice cooled off a bit while having the soup."

"I had an awesome experience at this noodle bar! The service was insanely fast — I barely had time to settle in before my order was already on the way. I got the ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. What really took it to the next level was the spice tray they provide at the table — such a cool touch! I loved being able to customize the heat and flavor to my liking. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality food with quick service!"

"Absolutely Delicious and Memorable Experience at Flying Monk Noodle Bar!
We had such an incredible dining experience at Flying Monk Noodle Bar that I had to leave a review! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind—it really elevated the entire experience.
We ordered the Tao Dumpling Soup and the Singaporean Chicken Noodles, and both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. The Tao Dumpling Soup came in a deep, flavorful broth brimming with fresh greens, herbs, scallions, and tender dumplings. It had that perfect balance of savory comfort with a hint of spice, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.
The Singaporean Chicken Noodles were another hit—packed with flavor, loaded with veggies, and perfectly stir-fried. The noodles had a beautiful texture, and the seasoning was spot on: aromatic, slightly sweet, and spicy with a kick of curry. A squeeze of lime on top brought everything together in the best way. It was seriously one of the most satisfying noodle dishes we’ve had in a long time!
The ambiance of the restaurant was also great—casual yet stylish, with a cozy and inviting vibe. Whether you're sitting inside or enjoying the charming sidewalk seating with red chairs and umbrellas, it's a great spot to enjoy an unforgettable meal.
If you're in town and looking for something hearty, fresh, and full of flavor, Flying Monk Noodle Bar is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. A huge thank you to the amazing team for such a delightful experience!"
