"food was delicious! I loved everything, only problems were that my boyfriend ordered a cooked tuna roll or something and it came smoked instead (he doesn’t like). They brought him a new roll for free and let us keep the “bad” one and I gave it to my mom. and the waiter didn’t speak English very well so it was slightly hard to communicate but besides that the food was absolutely amazing and the restaurant is beautiful. the chef and manager is a very kind and respectful man. service was wonderful, Food was wonderful, environment was great."

Had dinner with my family at The Drunken Poet in Sarasota, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, especially the sushi and the coconut pudding—both were outstanding. The highlight of the meal was the seafood Homok, served in a coconut. Not only was the seafood flavorful and perfectly cooked, but we also got to enjoy the fresh coconut afterward, making it a truly unique experience.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was top-notch, and every dish exceeded expectations. A solid 10/10 for food, service, and ambiance. Highly recommend!"
