Ok, so today is my Birthday so my boyfriend and I decided to take a break from Cedar Point and go get lunch before heading to Cedar Point Shores. We spent about 30 minutes deciding on where to go because I've never really eaten around here, being from Columbus. We decided on this place for the price and food selection. We sat down in the cute little diner expecting to eat and head back to Cedar Point. Welp, we ordered the fried green tomatoes and fried mushrooms to start holy ****! They were AMAZING! So I decided on the Philly Steak Sandwhich and the Broccoli Salad. There was no way this food was that good. I've never forced myself to continue eating a salad because I couldn't stop. I've literally found my new favorite restaurant, I've been across the country and never have I ever found a place with such sweet and amazing people (such as our server Sherri) as well as the most amazing, mind blowing, home cooking I've ever tasted. So, we wound up ordering dessert to go and all the left overs too. Bags of food and a food coma later, we are in our hotel room waiting to nap this off so we can eat this again for dinner and enjoy our desserts. Spent more per person because two of us got the yellow perch which was to die for. Big portions, reasonable pricing, tastes like a family recipe. Also plenty of gluten free options.
