One of the hottest restaurants in town, Nopa's attractions include the wood-fired oven and the late hours—unusual in a city where many kitchens pack up at 10pm. In a town where brunch lines can be an hour or more, it’s refreshing that Nopa accepts reservations (which you’ll need if you want to get in). Brunch is not the time to get the famous burger – save that for dinner or late night.

4505 Burgers & BBQ 705 Divisadero St. You’ll smell the smoky aroma of barbecue before you even arrive at 4505. It fills the blocks of Divis. that border it, and that’s a good thing because you’re mouth will be watering before you even get a chance to order.

I do have to add that I think Zuni, Nopa, Dosa, Slanted Door are ones visitors really do like. The suggestion of the Ferry Building is great too. I would highly recommend going to Tartine for a treat (morning bun or bread pudding w/ seasonal fruit).

It’s always really consistently good: wood-grilled, with pickled onions and a heap of crispy fries on the side. Even better, you know everything on the plate is locally sourced. I’m a habitual Rye Manhattan drinker, so I’ll wash it down with that.
