"Dining at Lazy Bear is nothing short of magical. From the moment you step into the space, it’s clear you’re in for a unique, immersive experience—more dinner party than traditional restaurant, but with all the polish and precision you’d expect from a two Michelin-starred kitchen.

Every course was thoughtfully composed, but two dishes stood out and will stay with me for a long time. The crab and rice was a love letter to the Bay Area—fresh, briny, deeply flavorful, and beautifully balanced. But the absolute star of the night was the lamb chop, cooked and charred to perfection over an open flame. It had an incredible depth of flavor, with just the right amount of smoke and tenderness that melted in your mouth.

Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, reservations are hard to come by. But if you can get in, it’s 100% worth it. Lazy Bear is a rare gem that lives up to the hype and then some."

If you’re looking for a private, intimate meal just between two people, this might not be the right place. It feels more like a shared Michelin experience with others, which takes the focus slightly away from the food itself.

The dishes were visually impressive, but the flavors didn’t leave a strong impression. It wasn’t bad, but not memorable enough for me to go back.

Overall, it was a thoughtful and interesting concept, and everyone there seemed to put a lot of heart into it. Worth trying once for the experience."
