What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Animae offers a luxurious dining experience with stunning decor and inventive Asian fusion cuisine, particularly praised for its high-end wagyu and flavorful dishes. While many find the food exceptional and worth the price, some diners note that service can be slow and seating arrangements might not always match the upscale ambiance, especially given the price point.
"Absolutely amazing. The service, the interior design, the food. 10/10 the best experience ever. We had a party of 8 and every plate was cleaned completely off. Everyone loved it. The cocktails were amazing! Approx $150 per person, worth every penny! We will 100% be back! The music was awesome"

"The food was okay but definitely not worth the price.
The steak was served in a ordinary serving plate, lacked of flavor and NOT WARM. Pretty disappointing given the price.
The wanton taste good just a lil bit oily.
Crispy Potatoes , chocolate cremuex were good. Their melon boba has a bitterness & I couldn't tolerate it.
Parking was hard and it's crazy how their Valet uses the supposed to be free street parking and charged you $20 for it lol.
Their menu online is unreliable so everything that you see in there don't expect it to exist. We were told they change their menu every 2 weeks. So if you see anything specific that you like call the restaurant 1st and ask if they have it.
Service was okay and reservation was convenient the restaurant just requires credit card to reserve. Restroom was clean just very tight. No booster seat and high chair offered for children. 35 mins wait for food. A 4% surcharge is added to everything."
Love Vasquez
"Had higher expectations but it was still pretty good! Dishes were very flavorful and I loved both rices, but the temperature control was not good. Cold fried rice. Perfect Taiwanese chicken + sauce. Pig ears were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, so very fun to eat. I liked the miso butter cabbage for 1-2 cabbage leaves but after that the sauce just got too heavy. Short ribs were extremely tender but kind of tasted like nothing (looked much more intense than they actually were). Apple yuzu sorbet was insane, def brought up score by quite a bit"
