What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Outlaw Kitchens is lauded for its exceptional food and the warm, personal hospitality of its owners, creating a unique neighborhood dining experience. While many rave about the creative, rotating menu and delicious desserts, some diners have noted minor service inconsistencies or issues with drink pairings, though the food itself consistently receives high praise.
"I enjoyed every bite of my food. Each dish tasted like a hug from my grandma. Very well done and I highly recommend. I also love that their menu rotates weekly.
Also great for solo diners like myself.
I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans followed by the Portuguese orange olive oil cake for dessert."

"We had an early Saturday reservation.Gumbo was great. The lasagna was darn good even though I am more partial to traditional lasagna. The barbeque was very tasty but was delivered cold. At proper serving temp I think this would be phenomenal. The drink parings were a mixed bag the two aperitifs were crazy good. The wine with the main course were a disappointment. Skip the pairings and order your wine from the menu."
Kevin Snyder
"What a great place for date night! Our meal was so tasty, we tried all three courses and each was delightful. The atmosphere is very cozy, very Austin like, and the meals were cooked with great detail and attention. We will definitely be making this a regular stop to try all of their meals!"
