Reviews Summary

Domingo Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience on the Riverwalk, praised for its vibrant ambiance and creative South Texas cuisine. While many rave about signature dishes like the shrimp cocktail and churros, and commend the attentive service, some reviews mention minor issues with drink consistency and isolated service incidents. Overall, it's a highly recommended spot for its food, atmosphere, and location.

"The entire experience was amazing! Started with the manager, Amanda introducing us to the server, Georgie, who recommended some amazing appetizers. And the Chef John brought us out the dessert and introduced himself…it was amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, food/drinks were fabulous! From the food to the service to the atmosphere I will be returning and cannot recommend enough! Get the churros!"

"We had a lovely breakfast outside on the patio with a nice view of the river walk framed by tropical plants. Our server, David, was attentive and welcoming. He made sure our coffee cups stayed full and that we were well taken care of. I enjoyed the eggs your way breakfast with toast and bacon, while my partner had the churro waffles which were delicious! Before leaving, David offered to-go coffees which were much appreciated and chatted with us about our stay in San Antonio. We will definitely be back, highly recommend!"

Chelsey Summers

"Nestled on the riverwalk this restaurant provides an outdoor airy dining experience as well as a nicely decorated indoor dining room. Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable of the menu. I ordered the La Playa Viva margarita- nothing special just tasted like a basic margarita and for the price I was hoping better. I wish they provided a more extensive cocktail menu.. This restaurant would benefit greatly from that, given that it is on the river walk and has a lot of foot traffic. More flavors and other options for drinks besides tequila would be amazing.
The Mexican shrimp cocktail was DELICIOUS! I would come back just for that. As well as the Guacamole & Pork carnitas taco, all well rounded and very tasty.
My only gripe about this restaurant is that there was a female waitress (not ours) standing by our table. She had another male coworker come over to her and they started staring and making comments about our table with side eyes. This made our experience awkward and I felt infringed upon a bit. I’m hoping this is something they can work to change, as an experience like this can make or break your guests time."

The undeniably delicious flavors of Mexican cuisine soar to new heights at Domingo, where an expertly curated menu offers a list of fare that is artfully executed to ensure that guests walk away with an experience that is like no other.
