What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cured is highly praised for its exceptional charcuterie, inventive cocktails, and the expertise of its James Beard-nominated chef. Diners appreciate the unique flavors and the rustic-chic ambiance, especially during happy hour. However, some find the atmosphere sterile and the menu limited or overpriced, with occasional comments on portion sizes and service attentiveness.
"Incredible food, wonderful staff, and great atmosphere.
We were in town for our anniversary and met the curator Steve during the farmers market. We had a great chat and got a signed copy of his book Cured. We made reservations for dinner and it did not disappoint. Hunter was our waiter and did an outstanding job. We pretty much let him curate our meal for us and we just sat back and enjoyed ourselves. I have nothing but great things to say. To top it off, Steve stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary and check in on us.

"We arrived at about 4 pm on a Friday. We ordered from the appetizer and drink happy hour menu. There were decent options. We had the quail legs, hamburger, and fries. The fries were the best. My drink was too sweet, but I'm glad I tried it. Our waiter kept picking up our dishes before we finished eating. I would go again but only during happy hour."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My wife and I have traveled and dined around the globe, and Cured in San Antonio is truly in a class of its own. From the moment we arrived, the professionalism and genuine warmth of the entire team—sommelier, server, and even the chef/owner—set the tone for an extraordinary evening.
We sat at the Chef’s Table, where every course showcased not only world-class technique but also an inspiring respect for ingredients. The flavors were bold yet balanced, with each dish telling a story. The wine pairings weren’t just “good matches”—they were thoughtful, unique, and elevated the food to an entirely new level.
This wasn’t just dinner, it was a masterclass in hospitality and culinary craft. Cured delivered an experience that rivals Michelin-starred restaurants we’ve visited abroad. Without question, it’s one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had, anywhere."
