Reviews Summary

Valter's Osteria is widely praised for its exceptional Italian cuisine and outstanding service, creating an elegant yet cozy dining atmosphere. Diners rave about the handmade pastas, particularly the pasta sampler, and the unique lemon gelato. While most reviews are glowing, some note that the tables can be close together, impacting privacy.

"⭐️Food: 10/10
⭐️Service: Exceptional
⭐️Atmosphere: Elegant, but cozy
⭐️Value: Perfect for an elevated date night or special occasion.

We had the best Valentine’s dinner at Valter’s—honestly, it was chef’s kiss from start to finish. The bruschetta and house-made bread are delicious. The bread comes with a dipping oil—so good I practically wanted to drink it. 🤤

We shared the pasta sampler (because why choose just one?) and the carbonara. The four kinds of pasta that came with the sampler were the perfect amount of food and I loved having a variety to keep each bite fresh. Perfectly cooked pasta and bold flavors… pasta heaven.

Dessert! We couldn’t decide between the lemon gelato and the crème brûlée, so we got both! The crème brûlée was perfection but if I had to choose between the two, I’d get the lemon gelato. It’s super unique and if you’re a fan of lemon like I am, you’ll love this!

The atmosphere was elegant but cozy. The size of the restaurant and its familiar decor made me feel like we were right back in Italy. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic evening, incredible Italian food with heart and soul. Bravo, Valter’s!"

"I heard great things about Valter's a few years ago and about the Tour of Italy 🇮🇹. Gustavo served and he was a charm. All of the staff there were so friendly and kind. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was great. I loved the fresh flowers and the option of having a closed room for an event. They have valet parking, which is very convenient. We were 1 minute late for our reservation, and they were kind about it. As we sat, the hostess offered to take our coats. They brought an appetizer over and gave me plenty of time to decide what I was going to oder. Gustavo was always gracious and went beyond to help us. Everything was lovely, I ended up not doing the tour of Italy, but I expected way more from my main dish and even expected better quality of the food. My friend's main dish was delicious!!!"

Tatiana Grant

"Went to Valter’s for an anniversary dinner and as always, they didn’t disappoint! It’s always such a fantastic experience when we go here. The food is amazing. 10/10 experience! We tried the gnocchi and homemade lasagna this time and the lasagna was probably one of the most amazing dishes I’ve ever had. Lemon gelato w/ honey drizzled over the top with sea salt is also a must get!"

Valter’s Osteria is a downtown gem of a dining experience that will change the way you might think about Italian food as one of the most mainstream, familiar cuisines of the world. The small and close-together tables make patrons feel like they might actually be in a restaurant in Italy, enjoying pastas and sauces that pair beautifully with juicy meat options, or the perfectly complementary wine. The bread is baked and served fresh from the oven, the hand-made ravioli and gnocci are perfectly soft, and the sauces are rich and flavorful.
