Reviews Summary

Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade is celebrated for its exceptional biscuits and refreshing limeades, creating a delightful dining experience. While many praise the unique menu items and friendly service, some found certain dishes, like the chilaquiles, didn't meet expectations, and noted a preference for higher-quality deli meats in some breakfast items.

"First time here on a date with my daughter.

We were able to be seated for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Lucky for us. It was nice and slow and plenty of seating. Service was quick and very attentive. Server was good at explaining favorites since it was our first time. Suggestions were fantastic for the drinks , food, and dessert.

Limeades were absolutely fantastic and I will describe them as drinks you would have on a cruise ship. They take you to another part of the world that is definitely not Utah. Both of the meals we ordered were smaller yet the portions were significant. Desserts in a biscuit, c’mon man…Why didn’t anybody tell me about this place sooner?"

Adrian Bryce

"I love Sweet Lake! The limeades are so good I could just chug them down in a few seconds. Raspberry is a favorite for sure.
The Hoss is my go to entree. It’s got a but of everything all on one biscuit.
Tried the hash bombs which is fried loaded hash browns. They were a unique twist on the already good loaded hash. Would get again!"

Robbie Morris

"I think I might have just ordered the wrong thing, the food looks good here but I got the chilaquillas, they just did it taste right. Now I lived in New Mexico for 20 years so like expectations were a little bit different. It just tasted like had been reheated one too many times. It was very sweet for some reason. Not a big fan of it.
I got the Benedict as well. And I just dislike when restaurants use sliced deli ham. It'd be nice to get a nice chunk of fresh, uncured and unprocessed ham or a high quality Canadian Bacon. It was good. Not super complaining but just don't understand why Nice places do that. Like make it memorable. Now your service is fantastic, our server was on top of it. Very friendly and attentive. All the drinks were fantastic!"

BEST Lounges Near Salt Lake City in 2025 – Doordash

Tried as takeout for the first time instead of dine in, and whilst the Orange Raspberry Lemonade and Mint Limeade can't be beat by any restaurant in SLC, the Smoky Joe and Brunch Sandwich didnt hold up well to the car ride l to our condo. The flavors of the Smoky Joe were spot on, with nice crunch through the onion rings and cabbage. However, due to the drive to us the bread had become incredibly soggy. The Brunch Sandwich ,was tasty, and the spicy spread on the bun was addicting; however, it needed some meat on it other than the egg. Adding a piece of House chicken as an add on would be a great idea and allow some option we can do! Really enjoy this place for their waitstaff and ambience. ". "The big hoss with the amazing eggs, fabulous biscuit delicious bacon inside of gravy is really, really delicious. It's sprinkled with some little Spring onions and it's very, very satisfying and could fill 2 hungry people's bellies. The mint Mint Limeade It's cravable and both together makes a fabulous meal of any time of the day.Remember they close at three o'clock

Ski Utah’s Favorite Brunch Spots

This adorable spot has become a go-to for Salt Lake residents—so much so that it keeps expanding and now has three spots around the city. Everything is local, organic and made from scratch, so you can feel good about inhaling their Biscuit Bread Pudding French Toast (blueberry biscuit bread pudding sliced and dipped in batter) because the biscuit dough is made in-house and the Titanic Chicken Sandwich (buttermilk bathed cage-free fried chicken breast, local cheese, Daily’s bacon, YeeHaw Park City spicy pickles, mustard and toasted Stone Ground potato chip-encrusted bun) because all of the ingredients are sourced from just around the corner from the restaurant. If you’re looking for a boozy brunch, their Chandelier (house limeade, 801 Unita Pilsner on ice, topped with sparkling wine) is a fab breakfast cocktail—but their limeade is awesome just on its own too.
