Reviews Summary

Keg and Case Market is lauded for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse array of high-quality local food vendors and craft brewers, making it a must-visit spot in St. Paul. Reviewers praise the unique culinary offerings, the historic brewery setting, and the engaging community events. However, some diners note challenges with parking and limited general seating during peak hours.

"We were invited by another classic car enthusiast and as it was delightful weather, were happy to chime in and find the Keg & Case location. Organizer Aaron Courteau and others flagged us to the correct entrance and indicated where we should park our car. It is a very warm and welcoming venue. We were totally shocked that driving in to meet other classic car owners is free.

Unfortunately, we were unaware that attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Food Shelf. We would have been most happy to participate. Interestingly enough, some locals walked over to see the cars, brought donations, and asked “me” where to put them. It seemed really meaningful to the event viewers and participants. I’d like to see more events like this and hopefully we can find another open Saturday to return.

We hadn’t inside Keg and Case before and were pleasantly surprised by the how clean and spacious it is. And very nice of the vendor who provides the events coffee. They also sold several breakfast items, so we enjoyed a scone as well. It was nice to meet a few residents from the neighborhood. It was particularly delightful to see one young man come with his son who was so excited to see the vintage motor cars and was delighted to see one come and go.

There is a pleasant assortment of local businesses in Keg and Case Market. The cheese shop is especially neat.
Events here are easier for first-time goers to find if they just know to look for the famous Schmidt sign that stands tall and is easy to see from blocks away."

"A good place to check out in St Paul. Super cool building. Great outdoor seating for warm weather. A nice variety of shops one the main level. Clutch brewery on the upper level. Good beer! Fun place to hang out and people watch. Nice food options as well. Worth checking out!"

"This was a genius move by the creators of Keg and Case!!! This side of St. Paul needed something like this. Many different shops and food/drink with unique twists to them all. The downside is parking, only one smaller lot and street parking. Also there is not much general seating, which is needed. Most of the seating had signs for “designation” for a specific restaurant or bar."

Where there’s smoke, there are barbecue restaurants. Here are 10 new ones

When Selby Street’s Revival opened, it focused on the fried chicken the Minneapolis spot was known for, but also added some of the best barbecue in town. The third location of Revival, in Keg and Case West 7th Market, has eschewed chicken altogether in favor of an expanded menu of smoked meats (and mac and cheese!) that includes to-die-for house-smoked ham that is as good on its own as it is in sandwich form, smothered with cheese sauce from that mac and cheese. Other favorites include the butter ribs, smoked whitefish salad and house-smoked bacon.

If there’s one opening that truly put West Seventh street on St. Paul’s foodie map, it’s gotta be Keg and Case Market. When news broke that the old Schmidt Brewery’s abandoned keg house was going to be converted into an indoor food hall, the neighborhood rejoiced. When the neighborhood learned that food hall would be packed with legendary Twin Cities restaurants like Pimento (the Food Network winning Jamaican food truck) or Revival (the award winning Southern BBQ restaurant) the neighborhood rejoiced some more.
