This modern, co-op-style building is dedicated to serving up excellent food and providing a welcoming atmosphere. Some of our favorites in the Market include Yeyo’s Mexican Grill, Markham & Fitz chocolate shop (be sure to try their legit sipping chocolate), and Bike Rack Brewery.

This is one of the most exciting places to hang out with friends and family and catch the positive vibes in Bentonville. 8th Street Market is a community-focused food hub where much heart goes into providing people with good food. This is where a spirit of creativity meets entrepreneurship, and a growing group of tenants serves one another and the community at large.

One of a kind restaurants share a common area with interspersed trees and twinkle lights throughout. After lunch, we headed back over to the 8th Street Market, one of the most happening parts of town. It’s where Brightwater is located, but it’s also home to The Holler – a hangout spot with a 70’s retro vibe and a shuffleboard court. Yes, shuffleboard is cool again, and I’m basing that on the fact even the college-aged kids were into it!

While not one restaurant, in particular, the 8th street market is my go-to place when you play the “what do you want for dinner” game. That’s because 8th street is home to a hub of food trucks, vendors, and order-at-the-counter restaurants.

Located in the heart of the Market District about a half mile from the center of town, the 8th Street Market is a wonderful community-focused food center. There is a culinary school, restaurants, a brewpub and my family favorite – Markham & Fitz. They are a chocolate factory, a dessert bar, and cafe.

YeYos is a colorful Mexican restaurant in a great little area of Bentonville called Eighth Street Market, which is home to some locally-owned shops and eateries. YeYos was a busy spot when we went for lunch. Be very careful with their addictive warm, fresh tortilla chips served with salsa cruda.

We spent an afternoon at 8th Street Market, a trendy food and entertainment hub. This space is home to unique eateries, a brewery, public art, and even a cooking school. We grabbed dinner at Yeyo’s El Alma de Mexico, which had traditional Mexican foods, and I splurged on a delicious cocktail.

Another unique and kid-friendly adventure in northwest Arkansas is the 8th Street Market area in Bentonville. The market features various restaurants, breweries, and shops. The outside of the market also has some incredible murals and public art, so be sure to walk around the whole building.

Fayetteville has the longest running farmers market of Northwest Arkansas' four largest cities. It opened in 1973 and expanded to a year-round market in 2012. The market runs inside the Jefferson Center in January to March and opens on the downtown square April 2.
