The food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress and everyone we encountered were all so friendly. We are long time locals and definitely would recommend this restaurant, especially for date nights."

"We didn't stay at this lodge, but we did eat dinner at the on-site Rapids Restaurant while camping and visiting Grand Lake. This restaurant is absolutely amazing!!! They seated us for lunch outside on the patio area, which was right next to the roaring Rapids! The tables were so cute, and there was even a table with a gazebo to ear as well. It was so refreshing sitting there next to the water. If you are in front of the restaurant, you would never know that special restaurant was so amazing. It's an older historic type lodging in an all wood structure. But right up the hill from Grand Lake. We ate lunch there, and the burgers we had had pomegranate flavored onions soaked in wine sauce. They were SO delicious! The burgers were awesome, as was a honey smoked salmon appetizer that we had. Our server was Caroline, and she did a fabulous job making us feel welcome! She had a great sense of humor and is a real asset to this restaurant! She even took pictures of me and my husband in front of the rapids! Highly recommend! Next time we'll be going back for dinner!"
