Reviews Summary

Grisette is praised for its cozy, vintage atmosphere and excellent service, making it a beloved spot for special occasions and casual fine dining. Diners rave about the expertly curated cheese and charcuterie boards and the perfectly cooked steak frites. While many highlight the unique and delicious desserts, some have noted occasional inconsistencies in food preparation and perceived higher pricing for certain cuts of steak.

"Very well done, overall loved the meal and atmosphere from start to finish. Steak was cooked perfectly, fries excellent. Would’ve liked fresher greens on the salad. I enjoyed the small menu, do what you do, and do it well. Certainly an intimate space, always pairs well with an open kitchen concept. Everything from decor to the vintage plates make you feel right at home in some far away bistro. The Parking will be a bit of a chore as with any place worth its salt, but be a good fellow and get a reservation. Will definitely be back, Grisette. You did not disappoint."

"From the hostess to the most to my server, Bela I had an amazing reception felt very welcome given that it was my first time had a wonderful server only to be matched by the food that came in the kitchen. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their job and the presentation. They made sure I knew the ice cream was from another local vendor spotty dog I have given this restaurant five stars in every category. Their menu is small, but everything that I watch come out of the kitchen looked amazing. People were very helpful and genuinely pleased to be doing such high-quality work‼️💜"

Repeat dinners flock to old favorites like the house-made charcuterie to start and steak frites or rockfish mains, all served on floral china. The staff is eager to speak on the seasonal cocktails and the wine list that features many affordable choices from lesser known vineyards.

The Restaurant List

Known for its outrageously delicious chicken liver mousse, this French-tinged Church Hill haunt stays packed with regulars and revelry. Work your way through its deftly selected smorgasbord — three meats, three cheeses and plenty of pickled fixin’s and crusty bread — and stick around for a best-in-class version of steak frites. The Grisette team is always plotting, so be on the lookout for notices of lobster roll pop-ups, farm dinners and wine-heavy events at sister concept Jardin.
