Reviews Summary

Wild River Grille is highly praised for its excellent food, attentive service, and enjoyable atmosphere, particularly its scenic riverside patio. While many find the portions to be a bit small for the price, the quality and flavor of dishes like the filet mignon and seafood receive consistent acclaim. Some diners note that the spicy pasta could be spicier, but overall, the dining experience is considered well worth it.

"Great spot right by the river. Did not have a reservation but they got us in on a busy night inside. If you want to sit outside, which looks very nice, you will have to make a reservation.
Food and service were excellent! Definitely going to go back and tryout some more of the menu."

"Out in Reno for a quick weekend trip and we stumbled upon this restaurant. Cocktails were good. My spicy shrimp pasta was just okay. It wasn't spicy and the marinara/sauce just okay. So I won't be ordering that pasta again. The Brussels sprouts were good but I wished they didn't use that ranch sauce dressing. I would have preferred a balsamic glaze with some umami flavor instead. As for the filet mignon, it was cooked perfectly. Tender and prolly the best dish we had."

Michelle Tan

"I made a reservation, and then day of they called me to confirm...which I appreciated. Showed up a little early and was still able to be seated quickly (sat inside but there is an outdoor seating option). I didn't order any appetizers, just a main dish with water. I got the spicy shrimp pasta with garlic bread. It's pretty good but I thought it was on the mild side. But then again, I eat ghost peppers once in a while so I'm used to hot stuff. Definitely a place worth checking out."

The 15 Best Gluten-Free Italian Restaurants in Reno

I'd never been to Reno and honestly didn't know there was a river that passed through... however, I learned as much by stopping into Wild River Grille, which had a river view but also was also a perfectly central spot, with easy parking nearby and a dog friendly patio. I'm gluten free and got the Cobb salad (or something along those lines) and the pomegranate lemonade and was perfectly fulfilled after my meal.
