At first glance, Tazza Kitchen isn’t probably somewhere you’d think belonged on a list of kid friendly restaurants in Raleigh. But it’s one of those restaurants that makes everyone in my family happy time and time again. From tacos to wood fired pizzas to brussell sprouts and a nice glass of wine, we all love Tazza!

There are two locations for Tazza Kitchen in the Triangle, one in Stone Creek Village in Cary and one in Village District in Raleigh. Both have great patio seating plus traditional indoor seating. Order their smoked pimiento cheese to start and then get the Baja bowl.

You can always catch me at Capital Club 16 for brunch or at Tazza Kitchen over in Cameron Village (kinda a chain but so damn good). I also know a bunch of cheap low key spots throughout the triangle but will leave those for later!

Centered around a wood-fired oven and nestled in the Village District, it’s the kind of place where people return week after week because it just… works. It's unfussy, welcoming, and consistent in the best way.

I’ve been wanting to try @tazzakitchen for a long time and we finally did last night!. It became an instant favorite. We got the spicy sausage and black pepper honey pizza and the kale salad with chicken.

Quite the impressive spread of farm-fresh spreads (two words: bacon butter).. plus breakfast pizza, breakfast sammies, killer french toast & a little something for everyone.
