Reviews Summary

Beasley's Chicken + Honey is celebrated for its outstanding fried chicken and classic Southern sides, with many praising the chicken and waffles and creative dishes. While service is generally noted as friendly and attentive, some reviewers have found certain sides and appetizers to be just okay, and prices can be a bit steep for some items. The restaurant is a popular spot, especially for brunch, and often has a considerable wait.

"Excellent fried chicken and biscuits with tasty and creative cocktails. We headed in for an early dinner and we were seated right away. Service was friendly and attentive and quick and our food came out quickly as well. The chicken was excellent and well prepared and the biscuits were buttery and soft. I also had a side slaw which was crunchy with a tangy mustard dressing which i enjoyed. We ordered a side of fries which were crispy and delicious with some excellent dipping sauces. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails that were all tasty and inventive with great flavors. Prices were reasonable given the quality of the food and flavors. This is a great place to go with friends for a fun evening out."

Bryan Doyon

"I’ve been to Beasley’s a gazillion times and every time I have an even better experience. This is my favorite brunch spot in Raleigh and my favorite dinner spot and it is the best place to find fried chicken with a consistent taste by far! The chicken flavor is so original to the point where I’m craving it on random occasions. This last visit me and my husband sat at the bar and we had Josh as a waiter/bartender and he was phenomenal! Like seriously 12/10 would recommend if you’ve never been to Beasley’s!"

Alicia Van Brown

"I came here with a friend for some dinner. The service was good we were seated quickly and had our food brought out quickly. We split the chicken wings as an app and I had the chicken and waffle for dinner. The appetizer wings were good but honestly nothing to write home about. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffle, I had the chicken breast which was good and the waffle was awesome. I do think it was a bit expensive... $9 for a bone in chicken breast is a bit steep but again, food tasted very good."

And it's impossible to go wrong here, but we can't not recommend getting a taste of the fried chicken that Beasley's is named for. At brunch time, spring for the chicken and waffles (drizzled in honey with real maple syrup on the side) or the hot chicken eggs Benedict—two poached eggs with Béarnaise sauce, creamed collard greens and buttermilk biscuits.
