Sandwiches. Salads. Lube. Yes, that's actually their tagline! Pop+Dutch is designed more for grab-and-go, but there’s a little space to stand and enjoy your meal. And that’s exactly what I did, savoring every bite of an incredible sandwich I can’t stop thinking about. Reviews Summary

Pop+Dutch is celebrated for its inventive and delicious sandwiches, with many highlighting the fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations. Reviewers consistently praise the friendly staff and the cozy, rustic atmosphere, making it a must-visit for both lunch and breakfast. However, some customers have noted inconsistencies with specific sandwich preparations.

"Delicious sandwiches with the option to order ahead. It’s 100% a grab n go, so don’t expect to stay and eat. Look for seasonal specials like their tomato sandwich on potato bread with duke’s mayo. I had mine on focaccia, it was delicious. They also make a mean breakfast sandwich, although their opening time makes it more of a brunch sandwich."

Benjamin Hammer

"Super nice but if you’re enticed by the sound of an heirloom tomato sandwich, don’t be. Just a regular tomato with tons of mayo. Maybe the other food’s good though."

Hanna Choi

"The best sandwiches in Provincetown. Get the Agent Dale Cooper - or - the breakfast sandwich, on a biscuit. Their breads and ingredients are all delightfully fresh. You can order ahead online, and pick up inside. The team here is always really lovely to interact with as well."

Eating and Drinking Through Provincetown

There’s a bakery called ScottCakes, which exclusively serves vanilla cupcakes with pink buttercream frosting; at a sandwich shop called Pop+Dutch, you can order the Celine Dijon, a spectacular play on a jambon-beurre, with sweet, nutty brown butter instead of fresh. For lunch one day, I went to the Mayflower, which has been open since 1929. It struck me as a place where my Waspy, buttoned-up grandparents would have felt right at home, but also as gloriously campy and frozen in time, with a full bar slinging Painkillers and cheap Martinis; baked potatoes sweating under a heat lamp; a row of wood-trimmed vinyl booths beneath fading caricatures of long-gone local celebrities.

Old-timey on the outside, the stand-alone sandwich shop Pop+Dutch, opened by two Brooklyn expats, serves top-notch sandwiches with a side of sass; eggy breakfast sandwiches, vintage coffee mugs, and some tongue-in-cheek adult accessories complete a quirky spread of picnic-worthy grub. Opened by a journalist cum restaurateur, the Canteen, P-town’s upbeat answer to the classic New England seafood shack, casually offers upmarket staples like hand-shucked lobster rolls on buttered brioche, and crispy Brussels sprouts in chili fish sauce. To cool down, its backyard bar overlooks the beach and serves a frozen Dark and Stormy.
