The mood still evokes the setting of 100 years ago, when Provincetown established its reputation as the nation’s largest art colony.

Tucked away in Provincetown’s charming East End, East End Market is perfect for a quick brunch bite or takeaway picnic supplies. This gourmet market and deli serves up house-made breakfast sandwiches, hot daily specials, and fresh baked goods alongside a stellar coffee and espresso bar. Their sunny patio is great for a low-key morning meal, and the market shelves are stocked with everything from local Cape Cod snacks to fine wine and specialty groceries.

Under new ownership, the East End Marketplace is a neighborhood staple, serving quality food fast, organic produce. Health foods, and sundries; the wine selection is excellent (owner is a sommelier). There are outside benches and a very nice small-town vibe.

Canteen is busy but efficient and offers impressive options like the cod bánh mì. The Nor’East Beergarden nearby has a relaxed, friendly staff and great food, and the Squealing Pig, a townie favorite, has incredible, no-fuss food and local oysters.

Whether you’re looking for a tasty lunch or to pick up some groceries, East End Marketplace is the go-to spot in P-Town. It even gets daily bakery deliveries from the beloved PB Boulangerie in nearby Wellfleet.

As you make your way down Commercial Street in Provincetown, past much of the crowds, you enter the East End with its many galleries and the strikingly designed Provincetown Art Association and Museum.

The East End Marketplace uses fresh eggs in their breakfast sandwiches and they are made to order until 11:30 am daily!
