What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Angel Foods is celebrated for its exceptional catering, particularly its rigatoni and wedding cakes, creating memorable events. Diners also love the upscale market atmosphere and friendly service from owner Liz. While most reviews are glowing, a few customers have noted occasional surly staff interactions during busy periods.
"Angel Foods came highly recommended by our wedding planner, and Liz and her team delivered absolutely stellar food and service! From the passed apps at cocktail hour to the mouthwatering rigatoni, every single bite was delicious, and the staff was attentive, helpful, and incredibly professional — we had a second caterer making pizzas, and the Angel Foods staff ensured the pizzas kept making it out to our guest tables. We couldn’t have pulled of our amazing wedding dinner without them, and we got so many compliments about the food (especially, it bears repeating, the rigatoni!!), with many guests calling it “the best wedding food ever.” We got more than our money’s worth with Angel Foods, and we’re so grateful they were a huge part of our big day’s success!"

"Liz at Angel Foods is fantastic and I can’t recommend her event catering operation enough. She catered my daughter’s wedding last week and we can’t say enough good things. The appetizers and entrees were delicious. Liz and her servers, Claudia and Ingrid, were fantastic at setting up the whole event including the tables and chairs, linens, table settings and serving the guests in the most professional way. It was a pleasure working with Liz and her team. Thank you for making our daughter’s wedding a pleasant experience."

Beyond groceries, Angel Foods is where I head in the morning for some down and dirty coffee and breakfast sandwiches, or for a sandwich at lunch, both of which I take and eat right on the water outside the shop.
