Reviews Summary

The Cabby Shack is a popular waterfront spot lauded for its delicious clam chowder, fresh seafood, and lively atmosphere with harbor views and live music. While many praise the food and service, some find the prices high and the music volume excessive at times. The extensive menu and prime location make it a go-to for many visitors.

"We had read the reviews about the clam chowder so decided to check it out. There were four of us. To start the two guys ordered clam chowder and the girls ordered crab avocado crostini. Once the starter came we order another soup it looked so good. The presentation was mouth watering and the taste was right on key. The crab avocado crostini was also delicious. My husband said it was the best clam chowder he ever had. The main course were also exceptional. The only down fall for my husband and friends was the Cole slaw and my husband fries were cold. I enjoyed it, so it a matter of taste. The cost was on the higher side but so was the food. The waitress was excellent. Great Place!"

"I feel like this place is way overpriced for the food they give you. My family of 7 came here for dinner we ordered 2 burgers ( fries were an upcharge ) 2 different types of shrimp, outside grilled cheese, chicken strips ( kids menu ) and the fisherman platter. The food was good not great. Average I thought. Service was good and atmosphere was hopping ( live entertainment ) on a Saturday night. We had to pay for parking at a meter in the lot. Our total bill was 300 $ including adult beverages ( we aren't big drinkers ) . There's a lot of other restaurants in the area so I would say check one of them out first. Just feel like it's not worth the money"

"We stopped in as a group of 6 with a 4 month old, and the service/waiter was great! Food was quick to come out and super delicious. No reservations it’s first come first serve and we did have a 45 minute wait for a 1pm lunch but they take your phone number to alert you when it’s ready and it was worth the wait! Highly recommend the chowder if you like it super thick and delicious! The Roo Runner cocktail was also a hit! They also had some live music which was super fun."

Best Seafood Restaurant in Plymouth Ma, Seafood Restaurant near me

the cabbyshack, on historic plymouth harbor, is the spot for gorgeous views, tons of seats under the sun, live music all season long, and seafood so fresh it practically jumps straight from the ocean to the kitchen. The basic boiled lobster weighs in at about a pound and a quarter. But those in the know ask for the super-sized three-and-a-half pound big man’s lobster.
