So yummy we loved the chips and salsa.. The best thing was the margarita flight. They were all super delicious with talking rim and a surprise firecracker that we were not expecting. The service was top-notch, and we were pleasantly surprised with our entire meal."

"The food was absolutely delicious! We ate at another local Mexican restaurant in the area the day before which was pretty good, but this one was the best! The guacamole was fresh, the meats were tasty and tender, and the portions were huge. Everything we ordered was delicious. The service was friendly and extremely fast. We told our waiter that we were celebrating my mom’s birthday and they surprised her with a complimentary sopaipilla and sang a song for her! It was one of the best dining experience we had during our trip."

Absolutely loved the food and this place is not one of those looting restaurants (if you know what I mean).
We got a take out and we loved how the food was tasty, healthy, and not too expensive. It was worth the money spent. Their chips and salsa was amazing (so fresh and the taste was to die for). And they were too kind to give me more salsa and chips when I asked for it. They care for their business!
They took our order on phone, got it ready quickly. This wholesome meal had beans, rice, veggies, avacado, a thick green sauce. We wanted to order more things here, definitely coming back here on our next trip :)

If it makes any difference, HI Express is within walking distance to Fiesta Mexicana which 1s a really good mexican restaurant and The Dam Bar and Grill which is a nice sports bar with a pretty good bar menu. The hotel was very clean with comfortable beds which is all that really mattered to me.

For dinner, we went to Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant (125 S Lake Powell Blvd, Page, AZ 86040; 11 am-10 pm Sunday through Thursday, 11 am- 11 pm Friday and Saturday), a brightly colored, festive eatery featuring the standard free chips and salsa and almost comically large portions. Justin and I split a veggie fajita dinner (ask for no cheese and no sour cream) and between the two of us (both with pretty hearty appetites), we were unable to finish the sizzling plate. I’m a pretty big fan of hole-in-the-wall family Mexican restaurants and this one checks all the boxes- homey, cheerful decor; delicious and savory Tex-Mex favorites (other veganizable offerings include a veggie burrito, avocado salad, and black bean tostadas), and knock-your-socks-off strong margaritas.

Since Mexican food tends to be easily made safe, we decided to head over to Fiesta Mexicana. You can find the menu here, but the gluten free items are not marked, and there is little to no training for the staff. We were greeted by a gentleman who took our drink orders, and when I asked for a margarita with no mix, just lime, tequila, and soda water, he replied that the margaritas are pre-mixed and walked away.
