Reviews Summary
Blue Buddha Sushi Lounge offers a unique dining experience with its vibrant decor and well-presented sushi. Many guests praise the fresh ingredients, creative rolls, and friendly service, making it a recommended stop in Page. However, some reviewers found the sushi to be overpriced, and one negative review mentioned experiencing sickness and an imposed gratuity.
"I just loved the sushi they had here! Im even more impressed by the vibe, I really like how all the teal and blue really worked well together with Japanese design cues and use of bamboo around the room! There's even a small little dining area that's orange hued that i loved! Their drinks are very good and I ordered the watermelon lemonade! The chefs plate was also very good too and he made some pretty good selections from the menu! I also love the baked shrimp too that had even better vegetables!"

"We were only in town for one night and needed some vegetarian options. We were happily surprised at how incredible the tofu Phat Bowl was! Nice drinks, great service, chill atmosphere."

"Good layout and atmosphere for sushi!
The bar is located at the center and has great service, the drinks are tasty and they have good selection of scotch whiskey, sake and beer. The sushi we ordered was fresh, tasty and plated beautifully. Client service was exceptional. Seating locations is good and a nice layout so as to make sure you ate in space that made one feel comfortable. Definitely visit and enjoy sushi here, well worth the experience.."

A Vegan's Guide to Visiting Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon
Unfortunately, our original plan, Blue Buddha (with tofu or veggie rice bowls) is closed on Sundays, so we decided to check out State 48 Tavern (614 N Navajo Dr, Page, AZ 86040; 6-11 am; 5-11 pm Monday through Thursday; 6-11 am; 5 pm-12 am Friday; 7-12 am Saturday; 11 am-11 pm Sunday), who both our tour guide and Airbnb host recommended. The restaurant has kind of an upscale hole-in-the-wall type vibe, with a plant-filled patio, an epic tap list, and at least one pretty yummy veg-friendly offering- an avocado and portobello sandwich. Unfortunately, they were out of mushrooms when we arrived and most of their other options contained some sort of animal products (including the rice! What!).

Blue Buddha is a hip dinner spot with a great selection of beer, wine and sake. When we stopped by for dinner it was buzzing with a mix of locals and tourists. Ben raved about the daily special he tried – a udon noodle bowl – and I really liked the Arizona Roll (salmon, avocado, cream cheese, jalapeño, and sweet chili sauce).
