What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
King Bao Mills is celebrated for its innovative and flavorful bao creations, offering a unique fusion of Eastern and Western tastes at affordable prices. Diners consistently praise the creative fillings and delicious tater tots. However, some reviews mention a strong smell of frying oil, which can be off-putting for sensitive individuals.
"My husband and I tried King Bao Mills for the first time. There wasn’t a wait, you order on the kiosk and I love how it has the pictures. The Hogzilla, Cuban, Glen Rhee, Chicken Katsu Curry, Hot Chicken, along with truffle tots and street corn. Yeah… 2-3 bao and some tots are more than enough to get you full. It’s the next day, and I still feel stuffed!
The food was good—possibly the best bao in Orlando—but not as mind-blowing as some reviews made it seem. Each bao had a distinct flavor, which I appreciated. My husband really enjoyed the Hogzilla, and my favorite was the Chicken Katsu Curry.
Overall, a solid spot for bao lovers. Would I come back? Definitely. Would I say it's life-changing? Not quite, but it's worth the visit!"

"This restaurant is a hidden gem. It has a very modest appearance near a busy intersection, but the food here is amazing. Reasonably priced for such tasty bao creations. They are not stingy with the food and the preparation is done quickly and with care. Beautiful food presentation. Friendly service. This is a must try restaurant for Bao lovers."

"My daughter and I tried King Bao in Mills for the first time, and we were pleasantly surprised! There was no wait, which was great, and ordering was super easy thanks to their self-serve kiosk with pictures – love that feature for trying something new.
We ordered two combos and chose the Hogzilla, Cuban, Glen Rhee, and Coco Loco. Every single bao had its own unique flavor – savory, sweet, and perfectly balanced. The portions were just right and the presentation was spot on.
Overall, great food, fast service, and fun vibes. Definitely worth the visit if you’re craving something flavorful and different!"

And at King Bao, a Mills 50 purveyor of this trendy, if ancient, Asian steamed bun delicacy, cheap. King Bao's fluffy, doughy handhelds are beyond reasonable $7 for a two-bao combo, $9 for three and stuff loads of fatty, crunchy, crispy, creamy and a whole bunch of other adjectives into their tender buns. And we didn't write that sentence just to use the phrase "tender buns." Mostly.
